TEMPEST OF THE GODS
PRE-EXPANSION EXPECTATIONS

Shadowverse's third expansion promised to catapult into the spotlight underutilized class themes and synergies. Maybe it is because so many new deck types have been revolutionized that so many questionable predictions were made-- but leaving that aside, here are the community's pre-expansion predictions.

Six out of the top ten cards are lengendary-- but the best card is a silver. This ratio is notably more legend-heavy than it was for RoB's pre-expansion voting (4/10 legendary)-- especially when you consider that among the next six cards, five are legendary!

Cygames has done well in creating some mind-boggling cards that aren't good or bad on first glance. Ledger, Jeanne, and Zoe in particular are cards that still generate massive disagreement at the highest levels of play.

Nothing to see here-- we all thought these cards would be bad, and none of them have seen any play outside Arena.

This expansion chose to expand on the Enhance keyword from Bahamut, pushing out several insanely strong cards, the most representative being the new autoinclude Grimnir. Gawain, though, seems to have been a letdown.

This expansion featured two legendaries per class, thus opening multiple avenues for new deck archetypes. The class score averages seem to completely miss the mark, though-- Dragon and Shadow were the winners of the expansion by far, something not reflected in the lack of excitement for Ouroboros, Orthrus (score:40), and Catacomb (score:55).

Tempest of the Gods has established a clearer gradient of power level by card rarity. In our survey for RoB, Silver and Gold both averaged 57, and Legendary was closer to the overall average.
