DAWNBREAK NIGHTEDGE
POST-EXPANSION IMPRESSIONS

Unexpectedly, the new expansion saw Sword jump to the top of the rankings with a wide array of strong and versatile cards. However, the first weeks promise diverse counterbalances in the form of Amulet Haven, Tempo Forest, and the lower-tier decks of Artifact Portal and Chimera Rune, even as Sword dominates our voting rankings.

With the hype over Orchis and Vania dying down, the more significant tokens have taken spots in the top 10. Here, we see the true power of the powerful Choose One cards Ceryneian Hind, Mirianm, and Celia.

The cards on this list mostly go to various Choose 1 cards that were significantly more effective than anticipated. However, we also have Sky Fortress as the most underappreciated card, as predicted on stream before the expansion.

Following in the steps of recent expansions, Cygames has pushed more archetype-based legendaries, which now dominate the Most Divisive list. However, unlike previous expansions, many of these cards have proven to actually be quite strong, inlcuding Alexiel and Shadow's new PTP card.

Other than White Vanara, there were no significant missed predictions here. Most of these cards were already rated mediocrely in the first place.

Ironically, despite receiving almost no powerful new cards, Forest has taken a spot as one of the best classes in the meta. On the other hand, Sword and Haven have taken the top two positions, as predicted by their incredibly high scores.

This expansion featured an average score of 52.6 (down from 54.7), and the Legendary-Bronze gap increased from 25 to 31 points. In addition, Amulet Haven and Midrange Sword now profess a large reliance on Legendary cards, pointing towards a more vial-heavy meta.
